Last Samurai -

I was looking to buy The Last Samurai, and noticed there are two editions (that I could find). The 2 disc R1 version, and the R3 "Limited Edition Premium Package" version. Does anyone know if there are any other versions out there? If not, is there any difference between these two in regards to picture quality and audio?

Thanks!

Is there a lot of Japanese speak that I would miss out on the translation of in the movie to justify the extra battle scenes and gore?
Is there a version with the extra footage and subtitles for the Japanese dialogue?
