Just got the German R2 Die Another Day
Just picked up an early German DVD R2 release of this one. Absolutely stunning.
The DTS track is really powerful, and the pic is pin sharp.
Extras and phenomenal - 2 docs, one an R2 exclusive (Both totalling nearly 3 hours), and lots of multi angle stuff, trailers, videos, effects breakdowns, title sequence breakdown, gadgets feature and stills. Plus, two commentaries, one from Brosnan and Berry, the other from Tamahori and Wilson.
Now this is how Bond DVD's should be made.

Actually, now I look at the language on the back of the box a little more closely, it looks more like Swedish rather than German. Not sure what the release date is on that one, but it is quite common in the UK for some retailers to get imports up to 2 weeks early, and with this being a Bank Holiday weekend over here, perhaps that is why this one has been released over here mega-early.
Actually, just got through watching it, and it rocks big time. Great pic, superb DTS sound - and I have not even started on the extra's yet. Pleased that the R2 has that extra 50 min documentary as well.
Some one also mentioned that apparently the US version was cut, in one of the love scenes. Not sure which one, and by how much - first I have heard of it though. If it's true, it makes me well glad I got this before the R1 release.
