Colonel Redl - What is its OAR?

Subject says it all - Anchor Bay has the disc as 4:3, but it seems to me this would be shot in widescreen - anyone know? Also, if it's available in a different aspect ratio I'd like to know that as well. Thanks for your help.

If I remember correctly, the DVD version that I had to watch for my German Viennese literature & culture class was full screen. I don't think there are any other versions out there.

Ok - that makes me feel better - all I found was 4:3 too. So I guess I will be getting Anchor Bay's version - thanks all!
