Any Problems playing Extras on R4 Dune?

I have the Force Video theatrical version of Dune R4 (With DTS), and I can not seem to access the bonus materials.

When I first got the disk, I was using my PC to play it with the Real Magic Hollywood + card. The disk had problems with the extras and the movie playback, which I figured was my playback software/hardware.

I just picked up a Malanta (520) player, and gave the disk a whirl. No problem with movie playback, but I still can not access the bonus materials.

When I select the menu option, the screen does not change, but the location of the item selector does, but I can not select anything.

Any ideas? Its not really an important matter, since I got the disk for the DTS soundtrack, more of a curiousity now.

If the 520 still has this option (the 996 does), you need to go into the player's menus and change the Subpicture setting from "Always" to "Never" (or vice versa, I can never remember). That will fix your problem with the menu/icon alignment. But remember to switch back when you are done with this disc.
