Complete Comic Strip available in R2

I don't know if anyone else was a fan, but the complete comic strip is available in R2 for about $65. It's nine discs and is a really cool box set.

If you were a fan of The Young Ones, it's mostly the same people involved basically doing film parodies, but it's a lot more than that. The documentary on the extras disc is great as well.

Now I can ditch the DVDs of them that I got from superhappy fun a few years ago, anyone want to buy them?

Might be worth a blind buy!

I highly recommend it as a blind buy.

I almost shat myself when I got a notice on this release from Amazon UK. I never dreamed to see a complete set like this. Ordered it immediately. Can't wait.

That's cool! I taped/viewed one episode back in the 80s... MTV showed it after a Young Ones episode. "Five go Mad in Dorset", it was called, and it was a parody of a children's book series. Really funny! I'll definitely add this one to my list.

As far as I know, that's all that it was ever broadcast here in the US.

This is a HUGE box set. There's going to be SOMETHING you like. It's all the episodes that go from the early 80s all the way up to the late 90s. I hadn't seen some of the later episodes and was pretty excited to see that Paul Bartel had directed and starred in a couple.

Now that this has been out for a while, anyone care to comment? How is the audio/video quality? Is this still the only legitimate release available? I'm considering this as a blind buy (I really enjoy some of these comedians other work) and would appreciate any opinions.

Also, anyone seen Eat the Rich? How is it?
