are australian disks overly cut ??

have ordered multiple australian disks awating delivery of some running times seem to be less than r1 and r2 disks
i know ntsc discs running time is different
anyone in the know email me thanks

Well what I have noticed lately in Oz is that many of the R4 DVD's are dual encoded for R4 and R2.

PAL discs suffer from a 4% speedup of the soundtrack, which accounts for the time difference in most cases.

However, there are some discs that are edited. Recent examples include Commando and Predator, which are believed to have come from German masters.

Are there particular titles you are concerned about?
