Hey all!

I received a BestBuy 10% OFF Reward Zone Coupon in my email. Will it work on a Samsung TV?

It says: "10%....from the following categories"

And it has a 'HOME THEATER' Category

The last line in that category says "Also valid at Magnolia Home Theater"

Now.. in the " NOT VALID" Category, it lists a LOT of stuff. Ironically it says:
"Magnolia Home Theater Products:" It lists several brands, but NOT Samsung.


So does anyone have any experience buying TV's with this coupon?

If so... This 3D Samsung will be a great deal! It comes with a free 3D Blu-Ray Player, and 2 extra pairs of 3D Glasses.

Mmmmm... if only it'll work!

I guess it depends. Usually these coupons say something about good on regular priced merchandise. So if it is a sale or combo price they may not take it. I guess you need to try it.

Even if it does work, it will only work on the full retail price, not the sale price. So it's not such a good deal when you factor that in.

Deftones, you were exactly right. The 10% off coupon worked, but in order for that to happen the computer automatically adjusted the TV to regular price first.


So I ended up obviously not sing the 10% off coupon. BUT... I did have a $15 OFF Reward Zone Gift Certificate.

So for $1,235.99 I got:

46" 3D HD Samsung TV (Model # UN46D6400)
3D Blu-Ray DVD Player
2 Pairs of 3D Glasses


Not too shabby! Not too shabby at all.

It has Internet capabilities, so I am gonna look for the USB wireless WiFi Adapter I have around here somewhere.

Now I read the reviews for this TV and someone said that the VERY COOL "Qwerty" Remote WON'T work with this model. Anyone have any info on that? B/c that remote looks friggin' sweet!

Oh, and also, does anyone have this model or something in the same line from Samsung? If so, how do you like it? And is it fun/worth while to go on the Internet?

And lastly... DEFTONES... Have you been a member here long? I have been a member for a very very long time. And I remember a "Defones" from about 7-8 years ago who was extremely helpful with some of these questions. I was just wondering if you were one in the same.....

Best Buy, not the best place for buying electronics.

I have the D8000 and I love it, looks fantastic. The apps leave something to be desired and you probably will end up not using them after the first few weeks.

Same for the wedge qwerty remote. It feels weird in your hand and after awhile you will not use the qwerty side.

Are there any Reward Zone 10% off coupons out there right now? I used to get them in the mail and email every other month or so, but haven't seen any in a while.
