You can upload songs you already have, as well as use the storage for photos or video. Music purchased from Amazon (from this point forward) can be stored on your cloud drive at point of purchase, and won't count towards your storage total.

So if you upload 5GB of files and purchase 12 mp3 albums from Amazon, you'd still have 15GB of storage left.

It's $20/year for 20GB if you don't take part in the promotion. However, they may create another promotion for next year.

They had two versions of Afternoon Delight by the Glee cast, a single version and an album version, both $1.29. I bought the album version and got the 20GB.
