Probably won't last long{if you can get it to work}, but if you sign up for a new account, you get $5 off, making it $5!

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

How do you get the extra $5 off? I'm not seeing a link or special offer regarding that extra discount.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

Hmmm... I did, but nothing about the $5. Still hard to complain about a $20 amazon card for $10.

Where do I sign up for the gift certificate on the LivingSocial page?

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

I created an account, but saw nothing about $5 off. Still, though, a $20 Amazon card for $10 is hard to beat. Thanks OP!

Edit: Crap, I thought I clicked on the link on post #5, but I must not have. Oh well!

After creating my account, I used the link in post #5 by submitting my e-mail address and the Deal Bucks showed up in my account within minutes.

I see it priced at $5 now.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

Thanks for the link OP, I just signed up too.

Has anyone actually received an e-mail confirming their purchase of the $20 Amazon GC yet? On the confirmation page it just says that my deal will be "ready tomorrow" and that my card will be charged. Just seems kind of weird b/c I was expecting an immediate e-mail confirmation. I'm not complaining and it's not that big of a deal; just kind of odd that there's a day long delay.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

All of the deal a day coupon sites issue the coupon 24 hours after the promotion ends. At least that is my experience with Living Social, Groupon, and Daily Deals.

Looks like the extra 5 off is dead.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

Anyone that got in at $5 might want to check your card to see what its been charged... mine was charged $10.

Not complaining about a $20 gift card for half price, but I will be sending them an email after I get my code to let them know that I'm not happy at all with them charging me double what I authorized them to.

Got in at $20 for $10, which is still a great deal. Thanks, OP.

wow, so was mine... that is unacceptable, doesn't matter if it is still a good deal, a company can not charge you more then the final purchase price shown. i will be sending them an e-mail as soon as i get the code also.

Grabbed two for $10 each. I would have bought more but I didn't want to overdo it.

Did you sign up for separate accounts? Mine only let me get 1 on my account.

Oh well, I did get my deal free by getting 3 people to purchase a deal through my referral link. Now all that is left is to get my code tomorrow and see my bank credited back the $10.

I made two accounts and used two different email addresses and two different cards.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

This is my first time ordering from these guys. So I created a new account and placed an order. I have $5 worth of "deal bucks" in my account right now. Will it automatically get applied to this order? Or is there something I have to do to apply it?

They are no longer honoring Deal Bucks on the purchase (even though the Deal Bucks T&C do not state they are limited, except that if you have US Dollar Deal Bucks, you must use them on the US site).

Though, from people's comments ... even the ones that had the $5 come off before they changed it, they still authorized $10 purchases from them.

I'd love to jump on this .. but, their business practices make me leery.

Re: $20 Amazon Gift Card $5

I'm not as enthusiastic about the deal as I was this morning. Thought about it. Passed. I was even seeing the $5 Deal Bucks applied but held off.

How can you not be interested in this if you shop at Amazon a lot?

Funny, I do consulting for them but I've never used their service until now.
