Coinstar has run this similar deal with Amazon.com in the past. I'm hoping they'll be doing that again, since I don't have as much interest in the iTunes promotion.

Sorry, I should have read the fine print before posting. I don't use iTunes, and the deal didn't overly interest me, which is why I didn't check into all the details. I suppose it's still a decent deal if someone buys regularly from iTunes, or wants to give it as a gift...

Not nearly as attractive as the usual Amazon deal the previous poster referenced. I have participated in that one each time it's come around... will take a pass on anything involving iTunes...

Cash in $40 or more in coins onto an iTunes eCertificate at any Coinstar Center©. The code for your bonus $10 iTunes card will appear on your receipt.
Go to the code entry page (you can access it through the link above) and enter the code and your mailing address and they'll mail the $10 iTunes card to you. In the meantime, go to iTunes and cash in your $40 certificate to get $40 worth of iTunes credits (which you have already paid for).
Ends on October 31, 2010. In my case it looks like I'll be buying a TV show season pass for $38, so this works out great for me.

Looking at posting history in the forum here it seems like they do it every year in November for amazon.
Would love for them to repeat it again for Amazon GC this year.

Regardless - Take an extra few quarters with you in case the machine miscounts and shorts you one or two. It shouldn't happen, but it might. It would suck if you had $39.75 rang up, were out of quarters, and had to go buy some more from someone while hoping nobody cashes-out the machine while you're gone.
