Very tacky at minimum.
Netscape? Well there's your problem right there.

Re: One & Only Yourmusic.com Thread I (BMG R.I.P.)

So I did a search for King Diamond, figuring they no longer had anything. It turn up one title.
Whay pisses me off is the fact that when you do a search for an artist that they do have,it also shows a list of "related artists"featuring many that are NOT available through the club.
Hey,Yourmusic,if you have nothing by Devo,Iron Maiden,New Order,Black Sabbath,Alice Cooper,etc. than don't list them on your site,f***tards.

This has been a problem for YM for at least close to two years now. It seems like they still have many artists in their database that were available once upon a time...

Re: One & Only Yourmusic.com Thread I (BMG R.I.P.)

Well purchased my one CD, and got my free one of top of it. One good thing was it was truly free....no shipping or nothing.

Wonder how long it will be before they take the BMG "barcode" off the CDs since it is no more now?

Re: One & Only Yourmusic.com Thread I (BMG R.I.P.)

Just curious. Are you guys setting up multiple yourmusic.com accounts (one for each of your old bmg accounts), or is there a limit of only one account allowed?

Thanks

Re: One & Only Yourmusic.com Thread I (BMG R.I.P.)

There's really no benefit to having multiple accounts unless someone is opening them to get the 1 free CD. Unless they start offering some kind of special codes or deals on the side, one account is all anyone would need.

BTW, anyone know how the free cd works? Will they send me an email after my card is billed for the order or...?

I still haven't joined Yourmusic. Lately all of my music purchases have been from Amazon, eBay, Target, Rhino Records, Best Buy and Walmart.

Once you have ordered your first CD and it has shipped, the home page will then tell you that you have 1 free CD to redeem. Also, when you put a CD into your cart, it will give you the option in a little drop down menu that will allow you to select "1" next to the "redeem free CDs" option.

I just broke down and did it today. ...Since they were kind enough to send me the former BMG member e-mail invite with the take-'em-by-the-hand-and-lead-'em clickable link in it that made it too easy to refuse. Haven't placed my first order yet tho. Still hoping to see Warners & Sony re-join the fold.

Re: One & Only Yourmusic.com Thread I (BMG R.I.P.)

I won't be buying even 10% of what i did from BMG, but $6.99 for a single newer release that I really want is still the best deal around.

If Warner and Sony were to rejoin the club then I would join Yourmusic.

Unfortunately in my opinion, the current music catalog of Yourmusic just doesn't cut it.

I went ahead and joined. I figured there is no purchase required now so what's to lose? It might be a limited time to take advantage of the BMG member offer.
