Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

I haven't gotten my email yet. Didn't get last month's newsletter because they wanted me to update my info before they sent it out, however, they didn't send me the update email until a week after the newsletter went out, so I missed those bonus points. Hope that I don't miss this month's either!

I have very few points compared to most of you-at 613 right now. I have a couple codes to add that I was saving for double points to add. I tend not to hoard them and buy stuff with them as I find things that I like. I've received some of the jewelry (the last one I got was the bracelet with the charms for 2200-it was a fun one to get!) and a lot of the DVDs. I find they have a lot of things that I want so I never have the problem of having too many points!

Holy cow! Really? I got a new laptop about a month ago with Internet Explorer 10, and this is the second issue I've run into with it. (The first was I can no longer download jpg files attached to e-mails people send me. When I click download, nothing happens!) The ironic thing is Disney's web site says it's designed to work with the most up-to-date version of Internet Explorer. Thank you!

Of course, every time I get to this page, they assign a new unique submission code that I'm supposed to write on the stub, which I guess means I have to take another photo. There's no more room left to write on the stub! And if I cross off the first code and write a new code on the stub, are they going to accuse me of submitting the same stub over and over? This is frustrating.
Here's a screen cap I took just now. Since I don't have a stub to submit I had to stop at the upload screen, but I think this will answer your question.
Spoiler:

What I'd do if I were you is contact DMR and point out that you've got all those open codes that they've assigned, but that you were only trying to get it for the one stub. I imagine they'll be cooperative. If you've got a Facebook account, I'd suggest posting on the DMR page wall about it. Their page is well managed and they've been very quick to respond to problems there.

You might want to read the (horror?) stories of people redeeming the uber-rewards with that wording. Disney does not bend on the issue and they require a physical UPC cut out from the original DVD/BD, for each product you redeemed the DMR code. One gets the feeling they do it to discourage redemption of the biggest rewards.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

Thank you, MinLShaw, for the screen cap. When I go there, the page looks the same except the blue button that says "Upload Your Photo" simply isn't there. How weird is that? I don't have a Facebook account, so hopefully they'll respond to the e-mail I sent them.

Their mail servers must be slow... Very odd that they are so spread out on the same email... My two accounts received them 36 hours apart...

I think I still have them, unless I've lost one or thrown it away due to damage. Hmmm. Probably going to have to abandon that dream. I cant remember all these years worth of stuff.

And I havent seen this mentioned in awhile but they are still giving 100 points for your birthday.

So I mentioned a few months ago they should offer a deal on a D23 subscription (which runs $75), and they have come through... with a whopping 10% discount.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

425 points nets you a $10 movie cash to see any Disney movie in theaters between now and 31 July. That encompasses Oz, the Great and Powerful, Monsters University and The Lone Ranger. Limit four redemptions per account. I've cashed in for one certificate so I can see Oz. Yay, free Mila Kunis!

Here's the link:

Actually, it's the reward code that's valid through July 31, 2013. The Movie Money certificate that is generated by the reward code expires 6 months after you redeem it. So, you could wait until July 31 to redeem the reward code, and the resulting Movie Money certificate would expire on Jan. 31.

Good catch! I've just looked at the one I redeemed for, and it expires 7/31, but that would be the sixth month after my redemption date. That's actually kind of generous of Disney, since six months from today would technically be 7/10. I forgot that Disney is now distributing the Marvel movies so I've decided to go ahead and redeem for my maximum four. That'll pay for me to see Oz, the Great and Powerful in March, Iron Man 3 in May and if I hold onto one code for use later in the year, Thor: The Dark Worlds in November. I could use the fourth to see Monsters University in June or The Little Mermaid in 3D in September. Neither is a priority for me, but if I can go for free, why not?

Re: Disney Movie Rewards - What did YOU get?

I'm in for 4 movie codes as well. Doesn't make sense to hold the points for something better to come along, since that doesn't seem likely.
