Does the e-mail get sent to me right after the buy it now/committing to buy process or after I have sent payment through PayPal? Thanks!

i made a purchase last week and had my cashback show up in live.com with the amount of days left to receive it.
Now it has disappeared and shows 0 for Total pending cashback.

Has this happened to anyone?

This bites. The 25% off is nice, and as I'm *still* in the market for a sub-$100 Jack Ryan HD DVD set, I thought I hit the jackpot when I found a used set listed for $115 BIN plus $8 shipping from Ontario. Got all the way to the final button click when I read that this sale was INELIGIBLE for Cashback since it was not listed on ebay.com.

I guess the auction is a cross-post from ebay.ca, but not getting that $28+ rebate spoiled the deal. If one of you bubbas can get it to work, go for it.

Auction# 150304515567
The Jack Ryan Collection HD-DVD 4 Disc Set
$114.99 BIN + $8.56 s/h = 123.55 - 28.74 rebate = $94.81

I already got screwed on this. Microsoft hasn't responded to any of my emails about it. As my first and only Live.com "cashback" purchase, I bought Echochrome for PSP from someone on ebay, a proxy for ebay.co.uk, and it showed up with the "cashback" logo all the way to the end, but the cashback never appeared in my account.

I'm guessing it's because the listing was not actually considered an ebay listing. Very shady!

Is this deal dead? I can't get ebay to show up under "sponsored sites" no matter what I search for.

EDIT: SEEMS TO BE WORKING NOW AGAIN!

I started with an iPod nano 16GB for the wife ($125 after rebate), bought 6 Xbox 360 games (many older ones I never played for $16 or so shipped after rebate), and finally got a new PS3 80GB for $259 shipped after the 25% back and the stacking 10% off coupon to use mainly for BluRay player.

Must... Buy... More...

How long does it usually take an ebay cashback to show as "pending"? I bought something more than 24 hours ago and still have a zero balance.

Usually a day or two after you get the Cashback message in eBay.

Looks to be dead now. At the moment at least. Glad I used it a few days back when it was 25% to get a used 80GB PS3 Motorstorm Edition. Paired it up with Big Crumbs cashback too.

I'd guess it will be coming back, especially since it was advertised with eBay's big Holiday push.

I'd be happy if it didn't. It makes me buy lots of things

^^Still live, according to the giant thread on slickdeals. Every time somebody posts that it's dead, 10 other people post that it's still alive.

I just tried "PS3" and got the same banner as always.

It looks like eBay doesn't always show up when searching. That's why some people think it's dead. Frustrating, but all part of the game, I suppose.

Anyone still getting this to show up? If so, what search term are you using? I've tried about 20 different terms and got nothing.

Didn't I *just* say something about the thread about this at slickdeals?

Over there, it seems pretty official that it's dead. Nobody gets the links anymore, and the wiki's been edited to reflect that. We're about to hit a major shopping season. I'm sure it will be back soon.

(I'm still holding off on the DD sale, watching that cashback level, until the end of it.)
