I just used wii and it worked. Thanks. I think I'm gonna wait until 25% or 30% before I pull the trigger.

A purchase I made back in October finally went through from when they had the 20% cashback. I had emailed the Live team about it several times.

Still holding steady at 8% as of 3/5. Patience is a virtue, or so I'm told...

I broke down and used it to buy an external hard drive. I noticed that people had already stuck a bunch of WM gift cards up way above face value. I bet they are hoping for that 25% as well......

Showing 9% tonight for ebay/paypal. Noticed they dropped newegg from the retailer list too.

That's not ebay/paypal.

Live.com has paid me a lot but they've also denied a lot of my rebates. Plenty of people are experiencing many problems too.

I searched for Wii. It shows up in a sponsored link, so ad blockers might mess with it. I can see it at home, but not at work.

Still 10%.

I see we've been merged back into the original thread again

Wii or PS3 should work. Check your adblocking software. That was what was keeping me from checking it at work, where I use firefox with an ab blocker. It worked fine in my naked IE.

I'm not really a fan of how the threads were merged, but I suppose the mods had a reason.
I wish they wouldn't have left my posts referring to the other thread (which I have since gone and deleted), and I wish they would have said anything about the merge here instead of just doing it and moving on.

I hope they're going to take the responsibility of updating the thread title every time the percentage changes.

Re: Live.com Cashback for EBay Again! 12% as of 3/24/09

So I guess the answer to my previous post is: no, they're not going to--at least not very dynamically.
I think this thread title is just as misleading as the last one. If it doesn't get updated frequently, the merge and title change will have served no purpose.

Re: Live.com Cashback for EBay Again! 12% as of 3/24/09

Has anyone had any problems collecting? I bought 4 items from the same buyer. 2 of the 4 went to my paypal. The other 2 kept saying failed. I opened a support ticket with LIVE, now they are saying I need to contact Paypal. WTF! My guess is Paypal is going to care less about this.

Wonderful decision, mods! Thanks for creating another misleading thread title. It's a great improvement over the last misleading thread title.
Relax. You think mods read every post? Did you notify the mods that a change was needed? Then did you wait at least 24 hours for our volunteer mode to see the request? Patience.

re: Live.com Cashback for EBay Again! 8% as of 4/17/09

I'm new to the Ebay cashback thing, even though I've used live.com since it started. I made two Ebay purchases today. The first one posted pending cashback in my live.com account as usual. But the 2nd one posted INSTANT cashback to my Paypal account. What is the criteria for getting instant cashback vs having to wait for it?

If returns aren't allowed, you can get instant cashback on that purchase.

Ahhhhhhhh, that's good to know. I'll try to buy from sellers that have no return policy if I have a choice from multiple sellers of the same item/price...

Well, I think they have to have a return policy that states no returns.

I should note that I could be wrong. I didn't obtain this information through my own experiences!

I can't even seem to find ebay listed among the featured stores on live.com today. Is it just my computer? I've used live.com several/many times before, but not finding ebay.
