Amazon Friday Sale throws in the towel - 2/24/06
Ok - it's still crappy, but there DOES seem to be a decent deal on towels. Not that the FRIDAY SALE has anything to do with it, but it pointed out this page to me:

Not bad deals if you need a few towels. Of course, we'll see if the quality is decent.
(Can someone throw in the dvdtalk linky?)

The knife block set from Pinzon also looks decent.

Not bad deals. Although Towels are hard to purchase unless you can really feel the quality of them beforehand. Tommy Towels I have seen in the past do not seem to be of the best quality. But thats just my judgement. Ralph Lauren Towels (Large Bath Sheets) if you find at a good price are very goo quality though.

True - I hesitated on the towels because I couldn't look/feel them. But they're for my Mom's guest bath, so I figured I couldn't go wrong for $7 for two towels.
