Damn!
I just called my local store, and they had 16 when they opened up today, but are all sold out already.
[beggar mode]If anyone happens to be able to grab an extra, please let me know. I'm sure we could work something out. Thanks![/b]

Just placed an order and got an email saying it is on backorder. I guess I won't be getting one.

Don't believe it. It said the same thing about my area (Lansing) but I stopped in anyway and they had one still on the clearance rack. Funny thing was that the clearance sticker said $119 but it rang up as $49.

That's why I didn't bother calling, I'll bet that most of those 16 went to employees that probably didn't know the price until you called!

The 80GB hard drive and CDR 30pk are both sold out and discontinued from being carried by OfficeMax and its distribution centers and all inventory has been forever exhausted in all market areas. We regretfully have to cancel your order per our backorder policy. Your credit card has not been charged and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

We appreciate your business and value you as a customer. If we can be of further assistance in selecting an appropriate substitute, please contact us by calling one of our catalog or customer service representatives at 1-800-788-8080. We look forward to serving your supply needs in the future. Thank you for choosing OfficeMax.

blah blah blah blah blah.....
