I just bought this on DVD a couple of months ago. The DVD didn't have much to offer in the way of extras either; a vintage featurette and the trailer.
A very underrated film that gets better after several viewings.

I do like the film, but I don't consider it essential at all. It's a decent detective story with a little action, and a very cute, young Melanie Griffin. It's worth a blind rental for sure.

Night Moves...this was eh, very meh. Glad I just got DVD from Netflix. Harry Moesby is a great character name though. Crazy ending, but I guess predictable. Nothing special at all.

She was cute, but a little annoying. This movie was just a let down, didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. Airy and then gritty, but Hackman was the only one doing some acting. Just doesn't compare to most his other work...

Night Moves is a fantastic 70s noir. There is a lot going on in that movie and it's a richer experience with each viewing.
Roger Ebert wrote a terrific essay about it for his Great Movies series:
