Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Blu-ray Collection - 11/03/2020
I'm excited for this set and I'll definitely pre-order this. I wish all 60 cartoons were new to Blu-ray but I can't complain since the majority of it will be. I don't need the extra stuff but I will like to support more upcoming Blu-ray release for Looney Tunes cartoons.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Nov. 3 will release the “Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Blu-ray Collection,” featuring 60 remastered cartoons starring the wily rabbit.
“This is gonna be something that fans have wanted for a very long time,” Feltenstein said. “It’s been many years since the company has put together a collection on Blu-ray Disc dedicated to what I consider to be one of the most popular Warner Bros. cartoon stars, Bugs Bunny. He’s right up there with Bette Davis and [Humphrey] Bogart, who created the DNA of the studio’s history. What we meant to do here is have 20 cartoons that had been out before, but that are basically essential, and then have 40 cartoons that either had never been on Blu-ray or never been remastered at all or they were not released in the proper aspect ratio. … It goes from the great classic early cartoons to the very end of Bugs’ tenure [in the mid-60s].”
The collection includes some titles not available previously, including “Racketeer Rabbit” (1946), “Rabbit Every Monday” (1951), “Jack-Wabbit and the Beanstalk” (1943) and “What’s Cookin’, Doc?” (1944).

I’d need to know what percentage is duplicated from the Golden Collection DVDs before I bite. But I’d really prefer mixed sets in release order.

I have all of the collectors sets on DVD, as well as the 3 blu sets. Doesn’t seem like a lot of new stuff, but I’ll still more than likely get this one.

Re: Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Blu-ray Collection - 11/03/2020
I looked up what's been previously released on the Golden Collection DVDs, Super Stars DVDs, and Platinum Collection BRs. Here's what I found (it's possible I missed a cople due to spelling differences between this list and what's on the previous sets as listed on wikipedia):
Bolded entries are prior BR releases with the set indicated (some also received DVD releases and have the set(s) indicated).
Bolded RED entries are prior DVD releases with the set indicated
On the Super Stars Bugs DVD set, 10 shorts were cropped to WS - this new BR has 5 of them, hopefully in proper 4:3.

I bought that Platinum Vol. 1 edition with the....shotglass, way back then. When they finally released the discs in a standalone set, I bought again really cheap. Recently sold off the shotglass edition. I don’t have high hopes they’ll release another one with the trinkets. A shot glass? Really? That was so odd.

That looks like a lot of new to disc titles, if they release a cheaper version I’ll probably grab it then.

It doesn’t look like the box has a lot of junk to me really. WB for some reason seems to like doing these sets with the Pop! style figures (doesn’t say that’s what it is, but it basically looks like one). That seems to be about it other than a couple paper items.

The sets are harder to counterfeit in China. That is the primary consideration for Warner when making lavish sets with physical bonuses.

I’m usually up for these boxes with collectible junk but that Bugs figure is hideous. Why not just go with the classic Bugs look?

Re: Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary collection -- 11/3/20
I'm wondering if all of these shorts are streaming on HBO Max already. HBO Max has a huge wealth of Looney Tunes material, but unfortunately its search function is completely useless and will not allow you to locate a specific short by title. They're arranged chronologically by "season,", so you need to look up what year a short was produced and then browse until you find the season that corresponds with the correct year. It's extremely frustrating.

Utter horror show on HBO max with the way the Looney Tunes are laid out.
That said, I'm glad WB is releasing more Looney Tunes

Yep, the HBOMax search is trash. My kids are heavy into all things Bugs Bunny, so they just start on a random season and plow though those. They love those new ones, which I hate, but at least there's one place we can get them all. However I'm still buying this set.
