Re: How many Blu-Ray double dips do you have?
I know many people use DVD Profiler but I am a Mac and iPhone user and decided to try the "Collectorz" app on my iPhone 7 Plus. It uses your camera as a bar code reader and also lets you enter titles manually if not in the database...but I only needed to do that a couple of times. I was able to enter my entire collection (around 1500 titles) in one afternoon. And now when I go treasure hunting at the pawn shops and resellers, I have my entire collection with me to verify what I already own and it can also be customized. I love this app because it is easy and intuitive. Now I find I no longer desire a desktop version. I've got all I need on my phone. I think it was a one time charge of $17.

Blu-ray double dips = none
Blu-ray upgrades from piss-poor quality DVDs = a couple (Outland comes immediately to mind)
I won't automatically upgrade a DVD to blu-ray unless I have a really good reason for it. I just don't have that kind of money.

I have two Blu disks that I bought on DVD, Metropolis and Bladerunner.
Last week I watched A Better Tomorrow (1986), and it was a terrible non-anamorphic disk. I considered upgrading it to Blu. Then I decided that if I haven't watched it in fifteen years, there's no point.

The Muppets- bought a copy in store and forgot to decline it when it was Disney Movie Club's monthly title.
The first five Halloween films- I had the individual releases and then picked up the Scream Factory box set.
Ghostbusters- had the single Blu-ray and later bought the book set that came with the first and second films.
Wonder Woman (animated)- had the standard release and bought Target's Steelbook edition just recently.
X-Men: Days of Future Past- Steelbook of the theatrical cut and the Rogue Cut.
Pretty sure those are it for me.

I'm in the exact same boat as you are, I have not upgraded any Blus and the only DVD's I have upgraded to Blu are the ones that have horrible quality. Gotta live within my means.
