Whenever I'm getting a disc out of a steelbook, I get a chubby.

I watched this one last night in 3D. While it isn't filled with "in your face" 3D effects, the added depth added quite a bit of excitement during the car chase and battle sequences. This is hands down one of the best, if not THE best of the Marvel Universe films produced to date. It's amazing how well so many characters are utilized without getting totally lost in the mix. The Russo Bros. made one damn fun film. I also hope Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans continue in these roles. Their replacements would have very hard acts to follow.

Amen. Gonna be my weekend movie. Was debating watching this in 2D actually. Heard the colors really pop in that version, but then I didn't get the 3D for nothing...

Was this shot in 3D or converted? I hate that Disney doesn't include the digital copy in the 2D-only BD.

Definitely a conversion. There's been less and less movies shot in 3D every year, especially live-action, non-CGI ones.

Egh, that's annoying. I guess I should look at it as $5 more for the digital copy with a free 3D disc thrown in. Any exclusive bonus content to the collector's set?
