Mulholland Drive: Criterion Collection (!) -- October 27th, 2015
Thought this one deserved its own thread. Overwhelmingly excited.

Jesus that took a long time. Any idea if it's completely uncensored or is Laura Harring still keeping her privates covered?

But does it have chapter stops?

The pilot would have been the perfect extra. It's fascinating how Lynch took an open-ended pilot episode and with some editing, extra footage, and a whole lot of imagination re-arranged the plot and made it into a complete film.

The Criterion edition of Eraserhead has no chapter stops. I can't imagine that this will if Lynch has any say in it (which he will). He still enjoys torturing viewers that way.
The European Blu-rays of Mulholland Drive have random access chapter markers. When you select an option from a cryptic menu, you never know where in the movie you'll end up (it's different each time you select any option), and skipping forwards or backwards during playback is prohibited.

I'm with you. Lost Highway, AFAIK, doesn't have a decent Blu-ray release in the world. I have the Australian disc and... ehh.
But a 4K scan, colour-corrected and with great black levels... I can only dream...

I always thought the first half was essentially the pilot almost exactly as shot. Then he added the 2nd half for the feature film. Is that not true?

This is still one of the only movies that seems to get "dream logic" somewhat right, sure it's mostly grounded in an oddly artificial reality, but showing what a character wanted to happen with their actions vs. what actually happened is rarely done so well.

It's Mulholland Dr., not Drive. The difference is significant, as the title can also be interpreted as Mulholland Dream.

That's just the artwork. If you look at the credits at the bottom of the poster, it's spelled out as "Drive." The official title as listed on the copyright is Mulholland Drive.

Also, "Mulholland Dr." just looks stupid. When I see that, I inevitably read it as "Mulholland Doctor."
No one, in the history of anything, has ever abbreviated the word "dream" as "dr". Ever. By this logic, you could also interpret the title as Mulholland Driftwood or Mulholland Dracula or perhaps Mulholland Dromedary Camel.

When I saw the film back in 2001, one of the people I went with actually thought it was Mulholland Doctor, because it was listed as "Mulholland Dr" in the newspaper. Boy, was she in for a surprise. (she hated the movie. I loved it, obviously. The others in our group were in the middle.)

Spoiler:
There are also certain sequences in the pilot that are shortened in the film such as the scene with Robert Forster and the scene in the boardroom between the director and the financiers. The credit sequence is also different.
Here is a 23 minute behind the scenes featurette :
