Inside the Fight: A combination of fight training footage and interviews takes viewers inside the fierce hand-to-hand fights.

I'm getting this Day 1. Glad it's coming out a little earlier than 6. I recall Part 6 was released in December of 2013, which was almost 8 months after it's theatrical release date.

Not that anyone listens to them here anyways, but there is no commentary track because Wan has said in the past that he doesn't like doing them.

Also, notice that there is no extra about Walker or how they finished the movie without him. I guess they don't want to be exploitative.

I'll pick this up, since I have the first 6. But I am kind of surprised there isn't an extra that's some kind of tribute to Paul Walker.

Extended huh. Too much to hope for an edited version that cuts out some of the dumber shit in the entire franchise.

Supposedly the extended cut is 2 minutes longer.

Doubt that anyone would even notice the "new footage"

I sometimes wish that BD's which include "Extended Cuts" would include some kind of insert that details what was added.

That guy in between Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez doesn't look like Paul Walker.

The days of inserts are pretty well gone, sadly.

I'm really surprised they did not add a feature piece on how they replaced Walker with his Brothers.
I'm pretty sure fans of both the series and Walker would have liked to know how they did it and in what scenes.
The bonus music video is kinda stupid since it's essentially the ending of the movie. Watch the video, see the ending of the movie again.

Seems light on extras for the fourth highest grossing movie of all time.
Yes, you read that right. 1)Avatar, 2) Titanic, 3) The Avengers, 4) Fast 7 (and it's really close to #3 on that list).

I have the tire set also, and there is plenty of room for more disc inside. Just gonna buy F7 and stick it in there.

I think it has enough. In this day and age something is better than nothing.

Review looks good. Can't wait, only a couple more weeks. I think I'm going to go the Walmart route with the extra content. I would love to watch the first 6 before watching this again, just don't know if I'm going to have the time.

Re: Furious 7 -- Extended Edition -- 9/15/15

I swung by Walmart this morning and picked up their exclusive. In store it's $25, but when I was checking my phone it was showing up $15, so I got them to price match it.

No bonus disc though. The extra content is a code on the back of the sticker on front of the case.

Nice of Universal to throw in a free digital movie. It's a small shit selection, but it has Spartacus, which is fine by me.

Furious 7 is selling pretty well.

It's made $52.5M on digital and disc

It sold 2.5M units on DVD and BD in its first week.

The store where I work had the tire set, so I got all 7 plus a bonus disc for a fairly decent price plus my (very) minor employee discount. All the movies on Blu, a bonus disc, and HD UV codes. Universal messed up and I couldn't redeem the codes until like a week later, but hey.
