Re: Steven Spielberg Director's Collection - 10/14
I said it before : I have no idea who this box set was for -- any fan of Spielberg and High Def transfers would surely have already bought Jaws. E.T. and Jurrassic Park on Blu Ray long before this set ever came out.

Yes, as indeed I did. I was reading that I'd make the newer titles in it exclusive, but happily that doesn't seem to be the case. The cover for Duel is kind of lame compared to the old poster art, but whatever.

Re: Steven Spielberg Director's Collection - 10/14
Tomorrow is the day for the individual releases from this set plus the wide release of the previously-exclusive-to-Best-Buy Munich.
Getting kinda excited about doing a Spielberg marathon. I had all of them on DVD too but the non-anamorphic transfers on Always and 1941 discouraged me from doing one.
I actually figured out where the alternate cuts fall chronologically (ET '02 will be my only trip into standard definition) and I'm gonna throw in Twilight Zone and Poltergeist as well. I'm also gonna slot JPIII in there to kill two birds with one stone and get my pre-JW series viewing done while I'm at it.
