It's definitely true. WB's press reps informed reviewers the general release has been delayed to December just a couple of days ago. This was a very last minute thing, as WB sends out product for review before release date. Best Buy pays for the exclusivity.

Best Buy is probably the only store that might have carried these to begin with. Hopefully they'll have a better price than $19.99.

Well...yeah. It's not like any other stores are lining up to sell premium versions of catalog titles they already have well stocked and probably in double to triple packs.

Best Buy were pretty quick to discount those timed-exclusive steelbooks from WB a year or two back, so I'd probably expect the same for this new series.

I couldn't see that picture at all. Had to make an account on Blu Ray.com to see it. Now I see those are $16.99 each (Gremlins, Green Mile, NBK, Forrest Gump and Ben Hur pictured). Only one of those I don't have on BR is NBK and not sure I want it.
In other news from that picture, it looks like The Mentalist is pregnant. Congrats!

I saw Gremlins, Ben-Hur and NBK on the shelf at a Best Buy this past Sunday. Tags were there for Gump and Green Mile - not sure if they sold out or not.

Gremlins has a 2nd disc of new extras, and The Green Mile has the extended version of the "Walking the Mile" documentary. I think those are the only titles with anything new.

Maybe. Gremlins has a second disc, though. The 25th anniversary edition only had one.

I would assume Gump is the same as the old Paramount disc, unless there's new 20th anniversary content added.

per the first post, NBK has the R rated version on disc too (which was not on the original blu) and an added featurette

The R-rated Theatrical Cut was originally released as its own blu-ray in a Digibook with slightly different extras than the Unrated version. This release appears to just be both the Theatrical blu-ray & the Unrated blu-ray slapped together in a 2-disc package.

From what I've read the only new thing is a featurette which runs about 10 minutes or something and is just added to the Director's Cut disc.

I own both original blu-rays so have no plans of buying this release.
