I wasn't even going to worry with contacting them to get a replacement disc for H4. I figured it couldn't be as bad as everyone was making it out to be. Then I watched my copy. It is really terrible. I can't believe Quality Control missed it. The audio issue is highly noticeable and goes on for approx 15 minutes.
I went ahead and sent in the request for a replacement.
In other news, buy.com has the deluxe set currently for $84.99 with free shipping... http://www.rakuten.com/prod/hallowee...265773625.html
ps. they also have the new TCM for $16.99 as well. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/texas-ch...268058339.html
Love buying stuff and then watching the price drop before even a month goes by.

Re: Halloween: The Complete Collection is coming to blu-ray
Even though I haven't made my way through all the extras yet (I wanted to watch the films first), I'm pretty pleased with the set, and I'm glad they're addressing the audio issues with H4. The picture looks great for most of the films, and I'm glad I held off on buying the individual Blu-Ray disc releases for the films.
It is a bit of a bummer that the set is sloppy at parts. The Australian disc art for RZ's H1 and the redundancy of having the original Blu-Ray release of the 1978 film paired with last year's release just seemes messy. They took the time to modify the disc art for almost every disc as well as even re-authoring some of them, they could've re-authored the original film's discs and had the film with all bonus features on one disc (perhaps maybe even adding the option to watch TV cut on THAT disc), and maybe added in 25 Years of Terror as a bonus. I will say that having the TV cuts of the first two movies AND the Producer's Cut for Curse definitely made my decision to purchase this set a no-brainer. I do, however, wonder how long it'll be before they take this set out of print? Surely they'll do another big set like this to cash in on the original film's 40th anniversary in 2018.
Another (small) issue I had that I'm surprised I haven't seen mentioned much was the paper wraparound attached to the box art. I didn't have any issues with the glue dots ruining the box itself, I just hate how after a while the paper will get worn, creased, etc. In my opinion, it would have looked classier if the info on that paper was printed onto the back of the box, and the image on the back of the box was used as the back cover for the booklet.
Overall, though, I'm very satisfied with the set. It's the best these films have ever looked and for now it's the most extensive collection we've got.

Did Anchor Bay even send out a confirmation email to anyone? I never received anything from them verifying that they received the email I sent them with my receipt from Amazon.

Ok, so I got a FedEx shipping notice with "HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MIC" in the reference, so that's it. Mine is scheduled for delivery on Monday.

My replacement disc just arrived today.
Looks like the artwork on the disc is different. Anyways, glad they took care of it so fast.

If its the same disc as the single release than that was a pointless exchange for me. I already own that release and I thought they said that it has the same issue.

Just received my replacement via FedEx. Since I never had the single release I can't confirm or deny it's the same disc. But the number on the disc art reads BD00745.

Just got my replacement copy. What's the exact scene or chapter that has the sync issue? So i can test the new disc to see if they actually fixed it
