Pretty sure it was canceled at the last minute, or at the very least delayed. I heard somewhere that it's delayed until August. Is there a Tom Cruise movie coming out in August that they could have delayed it for to cross-promote?

August 30th is the new date I've read. I think the only thing different with this release is they added a digital copy. Looks like it might have a slipcover.

I'm in the US in September so I can look myself. MI4 is out in December so that seems still off a little.

Back to the Future, Back To The Future Part II, Back To The Future Part III, and Risky Business had digital copies with their Blu-ray releases.

It's funny they delayed it considering the two night theatrical re-release two weeks ago to promote it still went on. Got a cool poster out of it too...

Paramount is also re-releasing Ferris Bueller's Day Off with a digital copy on August 2nd.

I saw the dvd on the shelf at Walmart with the same slipcover. Looked at it, and it was the same 2 disc dvd released several years back. They will probably do the same thing with the bluray. Unless you want the digital copy I would buy it already.

I saw it at Walmart but would would rather have the Blu Ray combo with a DVD instead of a digital copy. I care nothing about those.

I heard on the news last night that the film is being re-released in 3D next year, so stand by.
