We get an animated Crisis story? Bring it on! Can't wait till the films catch up to the killer story arcs that the animated adaptations are boldly giving us. Here's two official shots and the synopsis! Can't wait!
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Warner Home Video will distribute in Spring 2010 (finalizing date soon)
An original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne
McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of
“Crisis” stories.
Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer.
Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern) and Sam Liu
(Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.
In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives
from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save
his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters
with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What
ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that
threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by
Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.
All-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods
(Ghosts of Mississippi) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law &
Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman,
Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison
(X-Men) as the President.
Attached are a few images ... one is of Owlman and the other is of
the Justice League arriving for battle along with the "good" Lex
Luthor.

Sounds awesome but they should have stayed with Conroy as Bats. At least they are ramping up DC movies. I believe they had a contract for a set amount so let's hope they continue making them.

Why change a good thing? Does Warner really think these would sell better based on bigger celebrity "name" casts??
I just can't hear a Baldwin as the voice of the Dark Knight....MAYBE Alec (though I'd probably just wonder why Batman sounds like Jack Donaghy)....

I'll be getting this for sure. And I look forward to Baldwin as Bats, Conroy is fine but rediculously overhyped.

BRING IT ON!!!!
This would have made a great JLU Season long storyline.
Crisis and the "Bad" JL was always my favorite JL storylines. Good Lex is always one kick-butt dude.
I am as excited as I was when I was a kid going down to the 7-11 to pick up next issue of JL comics when they doing the Earth 1 and Earth 2 cross-overs.
I need to start saving my pennies now.

Hmm. This was recently done in Batman: The Brave and the Bold (with Red Hood/Joker instead of Lex Luthor). Should be fun.
If James Woods is Owlman, shouldn't he also be Batman? And I don't like the design of Martian Manhunter.

Awesome. but seriously? Who gives a fuck about these C list actors doing the voice work? I want EVERYONE that was involved in the JLU animated series doing their own voices.

I have no idea how they're doing the story, so this could just be their version of this "alternate Earth's" Wonder Woman.

Does anyone else think the plot is a little too close to the Grant Morrison/Frank Quietly JLA: Earth 2 story?
EDIT: And now having read the Wikipedia page, apparently it is.

Re: JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS - Spring 2010
Meh. So far, the only DC Animated film I loved was Wonder Woman. I liked GL but had issues w/ it, & hated New Frontier despite it being one of my favorite superhero comics ever. I don't like at all the recasting of Supe, Bat, & Lex's voice & I don't like the tweaking of the costumes & characters, I wish all the movies were done by the same art team. If it gets good reviews I'll get it, but it's definitely not pre-order worthy. That said, all of these DC-animated projects are a thousand times better than anything Marvel puts out, those are atrocious.

Well, it's unfortunate I preordered from Amazon, because they already sent me the fist part of my order early (even though I used free shipping) so I can't back out. The early reviews aren't that hot so far. In any event I was going to pick it up eventually anyways, but I usually don't pay full price (well, it was in my Gold Box so I got $.99 off).

There is a featurette on the just release Superman/Batman Public Enemies. It seems that this film is a rewritten/remolded script of the unproduced JLU:When Worlds Collide. Mark Harmon seems to do the Superman voice very well but on the other hand Billy Baldwin sucks as Batman.
Sad to see the possibility of a JLU feature film diminished with the production and release of Crisis on Earth Two.

This looks mediocre going by what they showed in that feature.
