Re: What Blu-ray Discs Are You Getting on September 14, 2010?
Right now just Starcrash (I can't get enough of these Corman releases. But I'll be getting a lot of stuff this week later.
For sure when the price drops I'll get Fringe: Season 2, Twilight Zone, Seven, Return of the Living Dead, Bloodsport/Timecop, Delicatessen. Seems silly to buy these now when they will inevitably be cheaper, but I know most here can't wait.
Will Netflix Boogie Woogie.

Re: What Blu-ray Discs Are You Getting on September 14, 2010?
Carrie remains one of my all-time favorite movies- is the 9/14 release any different from the previous Blu-ray release? I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing, but I don't want to be a sucker on a useless re-release-

Why is Timecop a WB release-thought Universal owned the home video rights?

The BD is identical, but it includes the Special Edition DVD as well. Best Buy has had it in stores for several weeks already.

Is there a good price somewhere that I'm missing on Seven since so many are getting it? For $24.99 it can be had for much cheaper if one just waits.

Prince of Persia via the Amazon $10 off deal from the other month. I'll probably nab Se7en and Bloodsport/Timecop later on when I see deals.

Re: What Blu-ray Discs Are You Getting on September 14, 2010?
I always liked that movie. I sold off my FF DVD and had a nice WS laserdisc for awhile. I did pick up the HD DVD and it is an acceptable release. If memory serves it came out pretty close to the end of HD DVD lifespan or the rumors had at least already started to fly. Also it was a bare-bones release, so folks like me who just want the movie in widescreen would be satisfied but i think many would be inclined to hold out and see if something better was coming down the line.

I'll get Fringe season 2 when it drops to around $25. The season was great, but I really don't need to shell out $45+ for it right now. Last year I picked up season 1 for $45.99 on release week and a few months later it dropped to $25 on sale. I can wait.

Depending if I can find it locally I'll get Se7en as long as its decently priced. Might also get the One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest set as well.
