Moulin Rouge

...and a serendipitous purchase today was Queen: Live at the Rainbow '74, which it turns out was recorded EXACTLY 40 years ago today, 11/19/74. I've been putting off the purchase since it came out, but decided today was the day to get it. I had no idea about the original performance date.

Feast of Friends (2014) A doors documentary. Alot of the doors video material was taken from this film. If its anything like When You're Strange:A Film about the Doors (2010)which I enjoyed, it would be a great purchase.

It's pretty essential for any Doors' fan. Basically a student filmmaker followed them around as they toured in 1968. Bruce Botnick remixed the entire soundtrack for audiophile quality, it includes a 5.1 mix at 24bit/96kHz.

Essential indeed given what limited media remains of the Doors during Jim Morrison's era with the band prior to his death(although there is some speculation that his death was a hoax). I expect alot of already seen footage, but looking forward to some raw unedited footage in addition to the upgrades.
