I think the Stallone commentaries on part 1 and Balboa are very good, I'll agree with the others on the first one aren't that good.

It's good to know that Rocky V, regardless of the fact that most people hate it, has a good audio track so I can watch the street fight with some kick ass audio!

When watching Rocky today, I noticed some audio sound effects missing. Most noticeably gone were the punch sounds. Although they do sound fake, it certainly adds tension. Also, when Rocky breaks Apollo's ribs there is no bell sound ending the round so it appears the referee just stops the fight.

Those same scenes were in Rocky II and they had the correct sound effects.

Is it just mine or is anyone else having those problems. I'm using the DTS-MA track.

I just got my collection and the Rocky disc and the bonus disc (Discs 1 and 7) were off the spindle. I popped Rocky back in just fine, but when I put the bonus disc back in, the disc cracked. I suppose I should return it, first time I've had a problem like this.

I got mine from Best Buy.com on Thursday. Rocky II was sliding around inside. I watched bits of each movie and I have to admit it really wasn't worth it. I watched all of part 2 and it froze in the middle. I took it to a Best Buy store and they told me they could only return it and give me a credit back on my card, so I just chose not to buy another copy of it. Maybe somewhere down the road I'll pick it up again, but for right now it's not worth it.
