I'm getting The Day The Earth Stood Still. Step Brothers, X-Files 2 pack and Shawshank have made my Christmas list. I'm waiting for reviews on Home Alone and Austin Powers but may upgrade sometime, but probably not right now.

Easily the most costly BD release date for me in my relatively short time buying them.

Austin Powers Collection
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
The Shawshank Redemption
Stranger than Fiction-SE
Wanted
The X-Files two pack

Hate the last Austin Powers film, but the price was too good to pass up, unlike the damned Bourne Collection.

Nothing directly on 12/02, but I'm interested in Shawshank, Home Alone and Casablanca.

I'll probably get Wanted since my girlfriend wants it. I wasn't a big fan of it though.

I'm surprised Home Alone made the poll over Wanted. Angelina Jolie > Macauly Culkin any day of the week.

This is probably my biggest Blu day ever... with a whopping three titles.

Wanted
Prince Caspian
Shawshank Redemption

Casablanca on HD DVD is absolutely awesome! I highly recommend that you pony up the dough for the BD. If the BD is as good as the HD DVD(I'm sure that it will be), I guarantee that you won't regret the upgrade.

I might get the Austin Powers set in about 7 months when the price drops. Nothing else of interest right now. Bring on 2009 already. Lots to look forward to.

There are a few that I really want, but the one only one I think I actually had pre-ordered was Shawshank Redemption.

Expensive Day for me too:
- Narnia 2
- Wanted
- X-Files 2

And I'm gonna pick up "Casablanca" a little further down the road.

I'd buy Casablanca in a heartbeat if it was available outside of the collector's set with all of the extra unnecessary crap.

I'd buy the first Austin Powers in a heartbeat if it was available outside of the collection.

I strongly disliked both Prince Caspian and Wanted when I saw them in theaters.

Oh well, a much-needed break for my wallet!

(I will get The Day the Earth Stood Still eventually, though.)

Interesting seeing so many grab the new X-files flick. Completionists? It was decent but doesn't have a ton of replay value. Definitely more of a rental, IMO.

I hope to get Wanted and/or Step Brothers for Christmas. If not, I'll pick 'em up used once they're a bit cheaper.

Chances are, I won't be buying anything this week (due to budgeting for Christmas).

But if I were to get anything it would be Casablanca or The Shawshank Redemption. Maybe even The Day the Earth Stood Still and/or X-Files.

Grabbed Wanted for $20 on Tuesday.

Casablanca. I have the standard and it was great. Can't beat the classics. What scares me are that there are people out there that will look at Casablanca and a movie like teh remake of Assault on recient 13th and go "yeah I really need that remake one."
