Yeah, there's a good 2 hour movie in there somewhere. The mini-series we got exhausts me just thinking about re-watching it.

It might be even more than that. I remember seeing when Jurassic Park was on commercial TV it ran 3 hours and it is a two hour movie.

i was gonna ask how its possible to fit 13 hours of video on a blu but if its all standard def, shouldn't be a problem, as the Alien Legacy set has 3 hour docs for all 4 movies plus little deleted moments

Disc 1 (blu-ray): theatrical and extended versions. Both have U-Control with Picture-in-Picture Gallery and The Art Galleries.
Extended cut has audio commentary from Peter Jackson & Philippa Boyens.
Disc 2 (DVD): Has theatrical cut only. Has the Volkswagen Touared & King Kong thing and teaser trailer for "Wish You Were Here".

I gotta say, I got the Production Diaries when they came out, and they really are some of the coolest BTS special features I've seen, regardless of what you think of the movie.
