Kill the Messenger

If that is a true story wow and I don't remember the media covering it.

For once the San Jose Mercury News had something substantial to offer lol.

Dumb and Dumber To

I wish I could see the bonus feature on the journey of trying to get the film made.

6 writers for this movie?

Hopefully it will be another 50 years before they make another sequel. It had some funny moments but it would not have been a big loss if it was never made.

Forrest Gump

The transfer is ok but there is room for improvement.

I forgot how many Doors songs were featured in the movie.

Naomi Watts was surprisingly funny in that movie too.

Birdman

Spoiler:
Did he jump off the building in the end or was that a dream? Emma Stones character was laughing so he must have survived.

The Theory of Everything

As expected it had its sad moments but overall a good film.

After watching parts 1 thru 4 on DVD, we watched Resident Evil: Retribution on BD this evening.

That was a good movie and Redmayne was Hawking.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Big Hero 6

I liked the beginning with the robot and the kid but then when other nerds came in it got kind of generic.

Nightcrawler (Dan Gilroy, 2014)

I enjoyed it apart from the ending which felt a little tacked on. The soundtrack was jarring at points but Jake Gyllenhaal's performance was a revelation.

Night of the Comet- first time seeing it last night and thought it was awesome. Very fun 80s end of the world sci-fi/horror film. Can't believe I never saw it before last night.

Tell me Catherine Mary Stewart isn't the cutest goddam thing in that flick. Had the biggest crush on her back when that played on HBO

Agreed. Both the lead girls were cute as hell. Definitely a very fun 80s flick. I'm surprised there wasn't a sequel but it may not have been as good if there was one I guess.

The local Fox affiliate must have shown that movie dozens of times each year when I was growing up.

Had its moments. Prefer the more sophisticated set-ups vs. the toilet humor

After seeing the Diane Sawyer special on TV I was in the mood for some Edelweiss. Mine is the 45th anniversary edition which I won't be upgrading.

inri222, how's the transfer for "Going Places"? I watched it on Netflix last year and wouldn't mind getting the Blu-ray.
