Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Awesome PQ and AQ. And look, Fox ported over all the extras. How nice of 'em.

Chuck: Season 1. Not top level PQ, but better than standard version. And I love the show...

Mission: Impossible III (HD DVD)

Makes me wonder why HD DVD went away. Still boggles my mind.

Terrific film. Looks more beautiful than ever. Didn't know it was that grainy. Now, I'd trade my girlfriend for Labyrinth or Dark Crystal, straight up.

Yep. There are some excellent transfers on HD DVD. Which is why I have a shitload of them.

Hancock

I happen to like the flick, it isn't great or anything, but still entertaining. Looked pretty good. Sounded pretty good. Didn't get to watch any of the extras. BD-Live is, again, useless. I don't even know why Sony tries..

Hancock

Video: 7/10 (some of this looked very good but there was some nasty black crush early on that was really noticeable)
Audio: 9/10

- the cover for this also bugs the hell out of me, were they even trying?

Watched Hancock last night and I had slightly lowered expectations after all the reviews but I found it enjoyable. I was disappointed that all the advertisements for the disc gave away some big plot points before i even saw the movie.

Man, what a freaking bloodbath. Some really fucked up images. Decent PQ, nothing to call people into the room about.
