Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
Yeah. Also 3 of "300", 2 of "Bourne Identity", Blood Diamond, Departed and some others.
Bought them when they were released, then after HDDVD "died", I picked up a couple spare HDDVD players (for other rooms, or to keep my collection "alive" in the event my HDDVD player died)), and those included free copies of the movies above (either in the box or through the mail-in program (my initial choices werent available, so the ones they picked for me were ones I already had)
..Or I just really love King Kong on HDDVD.
Whichever story you prefer

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
I used to combine both formats, but it was a little too confusing sometimes, so I separated them. I'm not buying much of anything now, but once the Blu-ray section started growing, it was easier to extend that, then both.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
I used to do that, but had trouble remembering which format I had it on! I recently started dividing them up by genre (combining both formats), but that's proved to be it's own problem when looking for a certain title (is Sweeney Todd music or horror?) . :-\

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
I've only got three titles so far, and two of them are part of series, so I've just mixed them with the DVDs.
Harry Potter movies (the first on the left is a still shrink-wrapped version of Philosopher's stone from Canada, found it at Marshall's)
My first Blu title
And my Apes collection
2 disc of original movie, the 16x9 remasters of the original sequels, the animated series, the Burton remake, the Blu-Ray Conquest (extended cut only on Blue), the live action tv show and the 2 disc Behind the... documentary.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
That is exactly why I hate when stores sort by genre. Just do it alphabetically, please. I understand some of the reasons why but it is still annoying.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
I can pack things a little more densely to get another 4 shelves out of it (I think their estimate is 1200+ Blu-ray discs?), but I figured I can hold off on that for a while.

I've already decided I'm not going to make the same mistake with my Blu-Ray collection that I did with my DVDs. With my DVDs, I sold off unwanted DVDs every 6 months or so, and eventually I started getting rid of stuff that I probably shouldn't have, and eventually I ended up wondering wtf I did with all my movies. So with Blu-Rays, I'm not selling anything, even the crappy stuff.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
These two photos are somewhat outdated. Since then I've added about 10-15 more. Last count is 411.

Re: Photos of Your Blu-Ray Collection
I was bored so I decided to lay my collection out on the floor, but being that I don't own a digital camera I took this crappy picture on my phone.
