every third gen toshiba HD DVD player from every retailer contains the 2 free movies. they are packed in the player box at the manufacturer.

I saw several open-boxed A30s at Best Buy today for $139.99 with both movies still in the box. Not a bad price.

Whats funny is BHD Blu is $14.49 on the site anyhow... so the gold box saves you a grand total of $0.72. Wow, Amazon... Wow. (Same applies to The Fifth Element, also $14.49)

Mine is for Secret Window. $13.77 is still too much for me to spend on a blind buy that people haven't been harping on me to go out and see ASAP (even though I like Depp)...

Did you guys get other Blu-rays on your deals page? I also have 2001: A Space Odyssey and Full Metal Jacket in there for $18.00 each.

Ratatouille. A Clockwork Orange, and HPotter:OOTP for me. Like $1.00 off each. I wish I got the Secret Window deal lol.

Usually I just get power tools or watches.

I'm curious, just how bad is Tower.com for HD/BD ?

Edit: Nevermind, after those horror stories I'll pay a little extra or wait for the next Amazon.com sale .

Amazon now has the A30 for $159.99. A3 is still $129, A35 is $249.

They really should have done these price cuts in November.

The A30 is now down to $155.63 at Amazon. I got a $14 refund from when I bought the player less than a week ago.
