Thanks, I'm guessing it won't get too much cheaper, so I went ahead and purchased it...

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but walmart has No County For Old Men BD for $24.97. Got it for $14.97 with the coupon that's floating around the 'net...not a bad deal.

Exactly what I did. Considering this is Universal's last catalog title, I ordered it just in case this becomes hard to find.

Not a problem. Not sure if its the everyday price or not but that's about $11 a movie. Also Rambo 2 and 3 are $13.95

That's a hell of a price!

I think that's about what I paid for the Aussie HD-DVDs.

Geesh, I assumed it'd be $40... let's see buy Rambo 2 and 3 for $28 or for $7 more get another First Blood (and the box), and sell/trade the other. Hmm... if the box is a thick, nice one I'll probably go that route, if it's just a cheap one I'll pass...

Was just going to get the second one (III is an abomination), but at that price I'd get the box. Still, Rambo III is a big-ass turd of a film.

On Blu Ray or HD-DVD? Or both?

I got that, also. I think the catch is in the selection of HD DVDs from which they let you choose: 5 whole WB catalogue titles. If they'd open it up to let you select any two HD DVDs, it'd be a whole lot more attractive . . .

They're getting desperate since they raised the HD prices.

Dumb bastards.

Oh, crap -- I didn't see the part where you had to buy the player. Yikes. "Buy any 2 BD titles get any 2 HD DVD titles free", okay. But this? No way.

If they offered the LG BH200 instead of the Samsung at the same price, I'd be interested

The LG BH200 just received an update a few days ago to not only make it 1.1, but all audio codecs now work. Since the Samsung uses the same chip its hopefully going to receive the same treatment. I might bite.
