I would assume so if Blu-Rays are region coded normally, but if not, then it's most likely not. Just look up what the region coding is on recent blu-rays in the states.

I didn't think this would be Region 1 as this coding is for DVD, not HD. If anything, it may be Region A, which is US and Japan. Here's some info on it:

... shelves are a little too deep for DVDs, but it works. The first units were left over from VHS storage back-in-the day, which was a better fit... just kept building on it from there. All the HD discs are in the theater room.
