Sony/Disney Blu-ray buy-one-get-one-free sales at Amazon and DDD

Amazon:

72 Sony titles
40 Disney titles

And courtesy of Ian Holm:

Deepdiscount also has the Buy 1 Get 1 Blu-ray sale as well, with some additional titles that Amazon doesn't have like Bram Stoker's Dracula and Tekkon Kinkreet. You can't combine the 20% off coupon with this unfortunately

Sony BOGO

Disney BOGO

Glad I didn't buy Volver at J&R. I knew Amazon would come through!

Does it have to be Sony with Sony and Disney with Disney, or can you mix and match?

Wish I'd waited. Except for some Fox/MGM titles, I'm pretty much all caught up now on BDs that I want... need more catalog titles to be released (& offered as BOGO, of course!)

Good ol' Sony and Disney. Every 3 weeks like clockwork!

Now to pick up all the titles I held off on knowing this sale was right around the corner.

Note that if you make smaller orders with this promo.... you can save lots of dough!

I purchased Volver and Casino Royale on one order for $21.xx shipped

And Hellboy and Memoirs of a Geisha for $15.xx shipped.

Prices reflect the 10% off promo and free shipping.

How do you save more if you make small orders?

I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas and decided to jump on this deal (picked up Big Fish & memento). Do these sales occur often??

About every 3-4 weeks (or when any big HD DVD exclusive title comes out).

You actually save more if you buy two $26.95 titles than 1 $26.95 and 1 $19.95... Too bad there was nothing good left in the $26.95 category that I did not have.

2 $19.95 titles with Prime and 10% is about $15.96 or so, which is a smoking deal.

Prime is their $79/yr 2 day shipping on most products (included most media).

Last year if you bought any hi-def player and/or 3 HD-DVD/ BR titles in one order, you received 10% off future HD-DVD/BR titles for one year from that date. Before end of last year, Amazon extended to end of 2007.

even though money is tight (so many movies coming out, so little income!) I placed two orders:

first order:
Vacancy
The Lives of Others

second order:
Big Fish
The Patriot
Arlington Road
Seven Years in Tibet

My wallet hurts! There was about 4 more I wanted but had to hold off for now.

I never bought any BR or HD-DVDs last year, and I've recieved the 10% off everytime I've ordered a BR since June. I wonder if I am lucky or Amazon just gives 10% off to everyone.

Why oh why can't Sony lower the prices of their players or HD DVD companies offer a similar deal so I can finally buy some movies!

Another amazing Blu-Ray software sale -- every title on my wish list would be about $10 each.

I'm guessing this is to combat Shrek 3 sales?
