What happened to the President Trump thread?

The President Trump thread in Politics has been locked for an hour without explanation. Is it undergoing a cleaning? Should we start a new thread? Did an admin fat-finger the button?

Re: What happened to the President Trump thread?

I'm surprised a new thread hasn't been started already. Then if that gets shutdown immediately we know why.

Has all dissent been silenced already? I didn't expect that move before November at the earliest.

I think it may be a mistake, but I need to confirm before I reopen.

No worries. It's not like anything interesting was happening yesterday.

Re: What happened to the President Trump thread?

The thread is open and I did a very very very good job of opening it. I'm the best thread opener maybe, probably ever.

Yes, but why did it take you so long to say this?! Threads get opened on both sides.
