Re: Providing comment when posting an article

I would imagine not. Sounds like a "posting game" or an attempt at "forum domination".

If this has not already been noticed, can you please report one of them to the forum moderator via the RTPTAM link and they can look into it.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the announcement for the 9 new Marvel movies over the next 5+ years?

Well, there is pretty much no information about the movies yet other than the graphic title card, which was shown yesterday and a date for it's release. But, those Marvel movies have generated enough discussion among the movie talk posters that I don't think there is anything to pissed off about. dex14, the mod in that forum, basically set up a template with what he has available at the moment. I don't think a future movie thread announcement needs extended analysis and commentary from him to start things off.

This isn't like Penguin Joe spamming the forum with links about various news, political & pop culture stories and then disappearing without any follow up or any of his opinion. dex14 is already a pretty active participant there.

Yeah. The Marvel ones are fine. The discussion will come out of it.

Re: Providing comment when posting an article

I was just trying to figure out the "If it's good enough to post it's worth commenting on as well" rule and it's exceptions.

If a cool new poster was doing the same thing as dex14 everyone would be having a fit!

Also there could be an exception cuz we were getting news as it flying out. We've never had something in the industry like this. And one could see immediate discussion was flowing like crazy here with anything Marvel.

Re: Providing comment when posting an article

Majority of threads in Movie and TV forums begin with a simple post; an article announcing the movie or an episode synopsis. The movie title or episode produce the discussion. Not much else is needed in an initial post.
