Mobile version

Re: Mobile version
We're going to have a mobile skin in the coming months that will be automatic when browsing to the site from a mobile device. I'll keep everyone posted on timing, but I think it's a done deal.

Re: Mobile version
^ Because they own Forum Runner, which is a competing product, I'm guessing.
I'm fine without Tapatalk (I don't really think it's that great). A proper mobile site is a better solution, IMO.

Re: Mobile version
Tapatalk works fine for my purposes and is free so to force us to pay for their app (which hasn't been updated in over a year?) if we want a decent mobile experience is just...douchery, imho
btw: from the day tapatalk was invented this site has refused to support it. Fortunately, a favorite competing blu-ray site I access much more than this one is available on tapatalk.

In the meantime, feel free to PM me for a refund.

Re: Mobile version
Cool news. I much prefer a mobile site over Tapatalk. I use Tapatalk on occasion for a couple other forums I frequent but have never really liked it much.

Re: Mobile version
The mods and admins should be testing the mobile version of the site now. I have it on my phone as we speak (just came out today). We want to run it in this format for a couple of days to work out any bugs before it goes to the rest of the site's members. If you don't have it in a week, let me know and I'll get with IB to push the release along.

Re: Mobile version
I'm guessing the mobile version available for everyone? It popped up on my iPhone earlier. First glitch I noticed was that when clicking on the subforums, it wasn't doing anything. But I just messed with it right now, and it's now pulling up the threads.

Re: Mobile version
Thanks for the update VinVega. Glad to know it's imminent.
trespoochies, I don't get the mobile page at all on my phone, but based on Vin's response, I'm sure it's coming.
