Can a thread be deleted?
After much ado about nothing, I'm hoping to have a thread that I started closed, or eliminated completely, if that's possible.
What do I need to do, or whom do I need to ask? http://forum.dvdtalk.com/other-talk/...p-what-do.html

Think twice, then post.

I'm not sorry I posted....just hope to see it fall by the wayside. Took your advice, by the way. Yours was first....and best.

Re: Can a thread be deleted?
Feel obligated to post my usual rant that nothing should ever be deleted, except by individuals deleting their own content only.
If his initial post was the only post in the thread, then I have no problem with a mod helping him delete it. But nobody's posts should be deleted by others. Free speech and all.
