invasive ads (anti-virus scan message)
I wish I could provide more info as I know these can be hard to track down,
But browsing the forum, I received a pop-up alert about scanning my drive for viruses. You close that alert and it immediately redirects to a page that imitates your harddrive folders and makes you think it is scanning. I have seen these invade ad networks before... nothing you did wrong, but you need to track it down asap as it will likely effect a lot of users and some may be fooled and place spyware on their system.

Re: invasive ads (anti-virus scan message)
You know... I dont' even see any ads as I try to duplicate this. Maybe I had another window open for another site. I'll let you know if it happens again and we'll see if anyone else experiences it. Probably not worth looking into just yet.

Re: invasive ads (anti-virus scan message)
I had the same thing happen to me twice last week. I would have never guessed it was from DVDTalk if I hadn't seen this thread. I ran three different virus scans and a spyware scan. They all found nothing.
