I emailed the guy. If you are a user of it, you should email them too. There's no reason why we should be blocked.

Adcycle is just our ad server. Nothing spyware about it.

That's still not spyware.

We do run ads from affilaite programs at linkshare. But still I hate to say it, we have a 100% NO SPYWARE policy on any ad. Also it's pattently unfair for them to block us because we run ads on our site. I understand some people want to run 'ad free' on the net. But we don't charge anyone to accesss the site, join the forum or read anything because of those ads. Otherwise we'd be forced to charge subscription and membership fees.

Maybe you can enlighten them on that. or better yet. Direct him to this thread so we can actually dialogue. (as he wouldn't reply to my email.)

Something on this forum keeps getting me blocked too. It seems sporadic, sometimes it is blocked and then I can get in to post this. Just started happening last Monday the 11.

Is this why I have to keep signing in for the past few days? I guess one of the anti-spyware programs I have is deleting a dvdtalk cookie?

We've tried to contact them but they do not respond to us. If you are user of their product and it's blocking a site like ours that you use, please contact them directly and tell them that they are blocking a site incorrectly. Or at least get them to tell us what we need to do to be in 'compliance'. We're NOT doing anything here on DVD Talk out of the ordinary. We are just running basic ads on the site.
