Censorship
I have an honest question. There's certain site that offers cash back rewards, usually a small % for clicking through them, nothing else. It starts with "e" and ends in "bates.com", but it's censored. ******.com See!?
This is a DVD site, so I'm confused about why a shopping site like ******.com is censored. Fatwallet does the same thing, but that's not censored. I assumed it was because DVDTalk sponsors also provide cash back through ******, but Amazon, DDD, and DVDEmpire don't, so there's no "competition" for referral clicks. Why? ![]() Last edited by CPT; 11-18-05 at 07:47 AM. |

I believe it was censored originally when it came out, because people were spamming the forum with it..I guess it just stuck..or Geoff dislikes them for some reason

I think it's because:
1. People spam with it. 2. People post links with it instead of DVD Talk referral links, and Geoff loses money on click through purchases. |
