No more War Forum

Are you disappointed that there is no more War Forum? Personally, I am because now I have to wade through all of the pro-war anti-war, pro-bush anti-bush, lefty vs. righty crap to find the interesting yet lighthearted discussions. But this is maybe how it always was, since i never really came to the Other Forum before the war talk, i wouldn't know. Just soliciting opinions here. . .

It should be a political forum. I was opposed to the idea before we had the war forum, but it really gave us argumentative retards a nice playground to play in.

Agree big time. I too was against a separate forum before the war, heck I was originally against a sports forum, but it clearly opened up both forums, the War and Other itself. Both were much better than if left together. A political forum would do the same imho. But I get the argument that it would be incredibly tough to moderate, hence the reason why we won't get one. Still, it would be nice.

I hate when forums are cluttered with things that would be better served somewhere else.

What's your problem? Too much of a p**** to back up your beliefs? Huh? Is that what you are? A weak little pussycat? Come on, buddy. What are you afraid of? Afraid of being WRONG?!?

Is it anti-american(note War Forum reference) to not include twikoff in my poll? My apologies if so. I've always noticed the twikoff reference but since it obviously started before my time it seemed inappropriate to include it. And I'm only talking this much nonsense b/c of all the wine.

I'm definitely for the war/political forum. It's good for both sides. The ones who want to talk about things like Top Bunk's new album can do so in the otter, and the ones who want to pound the table and make liberals into conservatives and vice versa can do so in the warring political forum

I enjoyed having a War forum where those type of topics were grouped. I think it should be brought back as a Politics forum, covering everything from Congress to foreign affairs.

Let's have a Liberal forum and a Conservative forum and ne'er the twains shall meet. It'll be just like America!

Now that the War Forum is kaput, we need two forums to take its place: a SARS forum and a Laci Peterson forum.

Please bring it back. The war/politics posts are starting to take over the other forum again.

I guess all those politics threads created recently must have driven all the threads started by people who want to discuss something else into obscurity.

I wonder what would fix that?
