so, how often do you use DVDTalk's Private Messaging feature?

Well on OTHER forums, all the time, it makes me feel like the other members are HUMAN BEINGS, but never here, because it is DISABLED........

It would be a nice feature, but I assume it would use up too much bandwidth.

I use it on other boards, too. Come to think of it, this is the only one I go to that doesn't have it enabled.


What if the private messages had ads in-between when you sent them? Like the page that comes up between posts.

forget we even had one. only now am I finding it doesn't work anyway.

Unless you're special, PMs shouldn't work. I almost never use them anywhere else. I like email.

hmm... that's funny then..

i guess i asked because i saw it.. and i did use it once way back when.. but, of course, now i learn that it is disabled..

proves how observant i am! (or, more likely, how drunk i was last night...)

I like the PM feature and I use it on quite a few other boards.

I use it all the time. My favorite feature of the DVDTalk private message is the ability to jump into webcam chat if the person who has PM'ed you is still online. Excellent implementation, and easy to use!

Agreed. But I thought the "smell-o-vision" was a little much. Some of these guys need to think twice about their bathing habits.
