What's the proper way to post GIFs? Just paste the link or do I need to surround it by [img][/img]?

Re: Feedback Forum Frequently Asked Questions

I run a windows 10 PC with Logitech wireless keyboard. Lately there has been tremendous delay between typing and it showing up onscreen. Numerous times it drops letter entirely. Sometimes it will ding and the cursor will disappear from the box. Only happens intermittently and only happens on dvdtalk. But when it happens I am unable to complete the conversation because it keep kicking me off.

Does it look like Edge is using a lot of RAM or processor when you run task manager? I'm curious if you see the same lag in Chrome or Firefox?

Re: Feedback Forum Frequently Asked Questions

Am I missing something with the search function, or is it very limited? I had trouble finding anything on a movie title because some of the words in the title were discarded if they had less than 5 letters. Is that right?

Yes, it possible to have too short a word in the search.

Re: Feedback Forum Frequently Asked Questions

So I'm new here. The OP says it doesn't allow avatars, yet I see various members with an avatar pic. So how do I get one for myself?

Re: Feedback Forum Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the forum! I'm sorry about the out of date OP, but you'll be able to upload an avatar after your tenth post. It looks like you're at 9 right now, so if you reply to this, you'll be ready to go!

The form for uploading an avatar is in your User Control Panel: https://forum.dvdtalk.com/profile.php?do=editavatar

Is there a way to do superscript/subscript or basically, a font size smaller than size=0?

Re: Feedback Forum Frequently Asked Questions

OK, I tried to search for this and couldn't find anything. Does someone know why I see quotes ( " ) as a square box sometimes? It makes reading posts really challenging sometimes, and I can't figure out the pattern, because it doesn't happen all the time. Is it a specific HTML character or something? Using Chrome as my browser.

Can you post a screenshot of the offending text?

It sounds like the issue me and a few users are experiencing right now here in this thread (post #6 in that thread shows the square box):
