Hey, how about a Horror Tropes 101 theme? Everything from 'car won't start' to 'I'll be right back' to 'help, I've fallen and I can't get up' to 'the calls are coming from inside the house', etc.
Obviously it would be limited to certain tropes only, otherwise practically ever horror film ever made would qualify. And compiling lists might present an issue.
Just an idea.

...and another actor to add to the RIP list: Haruo Nakajima.
If you're unfamiliar with the name, he was in the Godzilla suit from the first film through Godzilla vs. Gigan...and he also showed up as various kaiju or other parts in most of Toho's kaiju films. Here's the majority of his films (all titles given are the US release titles):

Alright, 11 spots remain for subset volunteering.
Cleaned up post 5 a bit and added skulls and fire themes. Also added toxic waste to the slimey goo to up it a bit.
All other suggestions are currently being worked on...

Bummer to report that Mondo Macabro abandoned plans for an Alucarda blu-ray... [and also Girl Slaves of Morgana Le Fey].

I've heard that there is a horror con in Buffalo, but I never went, as my folks would have to drive me and not only is it over 60 miles away, but my dad doesn't like driving in downtown Buffalo.

Added the comic book/video game adaptation (still a work in progress) and the friends theme. Made the latter a compilation of all three kinds.
Also, I gave up on the 20th anniversary Buffy theme. Granted, I only covered the main cast, but this is the list it produced:
